Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. / B.O.B. aged for 36 months, has aromas of pineapple and dried fruit, as well as a spicy flavor of nutmeg and pepper.
Cheese can be enjoyed with full-bodied red wine. It can be cut into flakes or pieces and drizzled with balsamic vinegar or sweet honey for an extra rich flavor experience.
Parmigiano Reggiano is naturally lactose-free and is therefore also recommended for children.
